Aren't these just so adorable? The first time I saw them in Sanrio, I fell in love with them right away. HK's outlines are diamond, and the straps are genuine leather. They are just soo delicate!
How about the prices? Well, the prices ranges at 1875 to 3250 US dollars. Kamusta naman yun?

Sadly, I can't afford it. I'm currently living with my student-friendly allowance, and is having a hard time when it comes to budgeting. x_x HK watches are just not practical, but sure are, adorable. ^_^

I also love Charmmy Kitty Charms, and Marie Graphics! ^___^

1. I'm currently deciding whether my new layie would feature Charmmy Kitty or Marie. I'm soon having a new home. ^_^

4. Deichan flew to Japan yesterday. Aww. x_x *hugs hugs*

5. I'm sooo not done yet with my homeworks! T_T I must finish them all today and study hard too... I'm aiming for the President's list, para scholar. Wish me luck! ^_^

A Whole New World~

I am now, officially, a college freshie! ^_^

It has been a very busy first week of school. I barely got time for my blog, and for myself. x_x and this is just the beginning... x_x

What happened?

June 13 (We're in the brink of getting lost)

- First day of school! I was so excited the night before that I can barely sleep. I woke up at around 4 am and went to school at 6:15. Since I'm really clueless (on how to get to our room) , and nervous (because there are too many students, all strangers to me) I kept on texting Pau. Turns out that, she too, was clueless that time. x_x We spent the next few minutes running about, asking the guard, some other students to help us locate our building. After a few running and panting, we saw Ms. Dumalanta (our former math teacher) and Ms. Caliva (our former biology teacher). Thinking that they are the answers to our prayers, we ran to them and showed them our schedules. Turns out, they are not familiar with the college buildings! x_x So again, we went about, already feeling hopeless . It was already 7:00am when we took our last bits of courage, and asked a college professor by the school museum. He's already very old, but still, he
s very kind... he even asked us to listen to the radio because he's a speaker. XD (plug plug? XD). Even if it took quite awhile of explaining, he showed us a map to our building. ^_^

Our first class was religion, and we sat beside a girl named Cathy. She's very friendly ^_^. Eventually, the three of us began gabbing away, until Heaven, (yes, Heaven!) clad in green, came into the room. She's a former DBS student, and our batchmate. Good thing, she hasn't forgotten about us. ^__^ She sat next to Cathy, and the four of us just can't stop talking! XD

Come English time, the four of us decided to sit at the back of the room, still talking endlessly. Our blockmates poured in, and two of them sat beside us, completing the row. Ercell's sooo friendly! She also introduced us to Kash. ^_^

Science came next, and we were grouped for a research paper. Good thing, my groupmates are Pau, Heaven, Cathy, Ercell and Kash...

It's a beautiful feeling, making new friends, at once. ^_^

June 14 - Our second day as college freshies.

I came to know that Ercell's totally the craziest, Cathy's really kind, Kashina is (our resident chinese tutor) such a sweetie and an ate, and Pau's really the shy type. We spent our break talking and talking, also with Kash teaching us Chinese. She even wrote down some words in chinese and made an effort to teach us. But what can we all say?

Ercell: "Ni hao, ma?" (over and over)
Me: xie xie ni! (over and over too)
Heaven: *.....*
Pau: "what?"
Cathy: *... "
Kash: "... (probably nevermind. XD)"

June 15 3rd day, and still lost. XD

SPU QC is not really a big university, but since we are still in first year, the whole new world is... well, strange for us. There are instances where we (all six of us) don't know where to go. XD Like one story where we totally made a fool out of ourselves in the lib. x_x

We were supposed to get our id pictures taken, but since we're not familiar with the place, (once again) we got lost. We landed in the library where they check the bags everytime a student exits the room. There's this U-shape table by the glass doors where the person in-charge checks. Realizing that we're on the wrong place, we went round the u-shape table (it's in the middle of the entrance and exit) and went near the door. The lady stared at us suspiciously since we were murmuring and asked us:

Lady: "Yung bags niyo, we need to check it."
Us: "Umm..." (coz hindi naman talaga kami pumasok, dun lang kami sa entrance door, then nag exit lang after a few seconds}
Lady: *irritated* San ba kayo galing at ano bang ginawa niyo? (people were looking at us already x_x)
Us: *looks at each other*
Me: "Umm... mam, umikot lang po. (around the u-shape table)"
My other friends: *burst out laughing*
Lady: *sigh* sige, umalis na nga kayo.

We can't stop laughing after that incident! XD

June 16 (We're seven now! XD) *today*

We had our math class today, and I soo love it! XD For once, I actually loved algebra. =D Call me a nerd or something, but I can't wait to do our homework! ^_^

Kashina introduced us to our newest friend, Carmelle. She's really a sweetie! ^_^

Comes our 3-hour break, we went to the cat walk, near the gym to get our org forms. Ercell's auditioning for the choir, Heaven's trying out for Tambayan (theater) Kashina, Cathy, Carmell, Pau and I will try out for the school publication, The Paulinians. (di na Sparks~~~ -_-).

We also went home early since our SoSci prof didn't come. >_< We waited for him or her for about 40min. or so. x_X

*I also did something wrong today.. very very wrong. x_x tsk tsk*

Ah well. XD So far, these are our experiences for the first whole week of our college freshie lives. We still got PE tomorrow, and I'm so not looking forward for that. x_x Saturday classes... are... well, saturday classes. x_x

Pixel Love

Yay! Finally, after a lot of readings and trials, I'm done with my very first pixel art!

Charmy Kitty was the first one I tried to pixel, and I'm glad that it turned out well. ^_^ I pixelled her using the mouse, and colored her using the tablet. She's very simple, but kawaii! ^_^



My second pixel art model is Marie from the Aristocats. =D Marie's harder to pixel than Charmy Kitty because she's more detailed. I did not create any shadows on this one, since I find it hard. But I'll practice working on that. XD I also added background colors so it would look nicer, and so I can see if there are some mistakes with the coloring.

On to bigger images! ^_^




This is my third pixel art for the day. And this one's the hardest since I added shadows.

Dear Diary...

What sounds so shallow actually hurts me deep...

No matter how long my posts are, I'm still not feeling the blogging momentum I once had. I'm really not sure why I can't blog the way I used to blog in BlogDrive or the way I used to rant in My LiveJournal. Even though my posts in blogdrive's too revealing in the emotional sense, I feel like I've blogged better there than in my new home. T_T And even if I try to sound cheerful through my posts, I don't feel cheerful enough. x_x

I promised myself that I'd blog differently from my Blogdrive account, because that blog had too much personal posts published... but now, I can't blog right. Something's preventing me... preventing me to post or do something with my new place because I have this feeling that something is being taken away from me whenever a fragment of my thoughts is being published.

Don't get me wrong, I love blogging. It's an extension of myself. I've been doing this for almost a year and a half now, and I really don't mind publishing my thoughts. I've been a drama queen in a way, since I used to blog everything. I must have blogged every drop of sadness that rained on me, all my happy thoughts even if they seem so shallow, all my unending (and sometimes unreasonable) rants. Even if I've been updating this everday, I really don't know why I'm feeling this way.

Kung kailan naman nagawa ko na yung gusto ko, to code my very own layout, ngayon pa nawala yung feeling na gustong-gusto ko mag blog. I'm not sure of the reason why, but I'm hoping that what I have in mind's not really the cause, because I don't really want to think this way towards someone close or something shallow. It doesn't feel right. Though I hope, this is not a one-sided issue. For once, I actually wanted to think and accept that I'm being too sensitive, and that I should let this pass.

I'm trying so hard to let this go by creating this entry... I hope I can find my blog-lover self again...

Pau and I are classmates! I'm soo happy! ^__^

To make a long story short... don't tell it. Lolz. I'll tell it anyway. XD

We had the Freshmen Orientation this morning, and it was a good one. ^_^ SPU QC's Tambayan performed well, and the venue's good too, except that it was pretty hot. Nonetheless, it was fun especially because Pau and I spent the whole time gabbing away. XD Reverie was there too, and Marjorie.

During the orientation, they showed us videos of the different courses and different organizations like Tambayan, Dance Troupe, and the Paulinian publication. Mama kept nagging me to join Paulinian publication but I think it's harder since aside from the screening, there's also an interview. I never had an interview for the Sparks, although I had to go through two screenings to pass. XD Two because the first one was all about Anime - and I was clueless about it, that time. T_T The second one's all about Peace and Mother Mary, I think. XD Thank God I passed the second one. ^___^ So for the Paulinian... I'm not sure. I'm not even sure if I want to audition... Hmm... enough of that. XD

For the next topic, I'm currently studying Pixel Art!

Why pixel art? First, because I sooo love them! Secondly, they are quite easy to make if you get the hang of it. Third, I'll need the knowledge in the future since I'm planning to make a pixel layout, along with PHP, for my future web. ^^;; So, I've been looking for tutorials and I found this really good tutorial in Kao-Ani. I'm not yet done with my first Pixel Art though. But when I finish it, I'll post it here! ^_^ I hope I can do Kao-Ani too. XD

And, I added the comments area too. Even though the Blogger comment tag has been activated, I used Haloscan instead because I really fell in love with the pink comments template! XD Even though Blogger offers comment with word verification, I can't resist Haloscan's pink template. Thanks, Haloscan!

Finally! The header's working well. I sliced it into 12 parts for easier loading, never mind the fact that it will not load all at the same time. XD I won't change my header anymore, I'm that stubborn. Hehe. Good thing it loads quickly now, I'm so thankful for Image Ready! XD And, I'll take off the comments part since it's not working anyway. Got to fix that soon. x_x

Anyway, nothing really special happened today, except that I lost some money. I really don't know where it went, I left my wallet in my own room. T_T I even thought that I spent all my money buying clothes, but when I saw the receipt, turns out that I should have atleast 2k left. I really don't want to pin point, and blame someone else... but I can't help it. x_x I'm certain that I still have around 2k left, and now, I'm broke. x_x

And, another thing: I want a new layout for some reason, but it means I have to think and study again, on how to code a new one and stuff. x_x Though, I think I'll use this for awhile, especially that I placed a lot of effort and used so much time coding this. x_x

Ay, pahabol: I guess my sched's not that bad. Considering I have a three hour break every tuesdays, thursdays and fridays. Kamusta naman yon'? At saan naman ako pupulutin in that three hours? x_x Buti na lang Reverie has the same sched every mondays, ang con? Magkaiba kami ng classroom. What could be more beautiful than that? x_x

A Letter of Love

I can't do anything about the header. I sliced it into five equal images already, since they said that images load faster if the size is not too big. So I figured that it would take much longer if I let it load as one image than in five parts. As of now, the size of my header is 360kb. Yes, 360 kb. XD I don't know if I should make a new one, but I'd rather not make a new one since I really like the way it looks. x_x

Update for today: We went to St. Paul's to get my uniform and class schedule. I was pretty excited despite the fact that we have to wait for a very long time just to get the schedule. Mainly because Pau told me that we won't have classes every Monday. But when my turn came, my smile vanished at the very second I laid my eyes on my schedule. Turns out that, I have classes from Monday to Saturday. x_x And the time's early too. x_x Monday's from 8:00 am to 12:oonn, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7:30am to 4:30pm (whaaattt?! T_T). 7:30am to 2:00pm for Wednesdays and Fridays, and 10:30am - 12:30nn for Saturdays. I also have a three-hour break every Tuesday. And for the first sem: 24 units. I can only fail 18 units. 18 and more, then I'm out. I don't even have the right to fail. x_x

I'm not really happy with my schedule. But then, I think it's not that bad. It's just not... what I've been hoping for. T_T

Thank god we don't have swimming lessons for PE, yet.

This will be a long year.

Hello world! *whew* XD

I'm so surprised that my brother actually allowed me to use the computer early. XD But, oh well. Thank you kuya! ^_^ So, what have I been up to lately?

For one, I'm studying PHP. I found this book just lying around, and turns out that it can be used for web designing! I've been reading it ever since this morning and all I can say is that it's another test of patience. XD But it's fun though. All this coding might drive me crazy from time to time but then when I see the outcome, it gives me this unaldulterated happiness. And another addiction: Elouai! I've been creating dolls from Elouai for a long time already, still, I love it! Everything's cute and girly. XD I even designed my doll counterpart (my profile image) and also planning to create a new one with a different hair style since I'll be having a new one too... XD

And another, my brother's planning to buy his own domain. Being a sub-hostee isn't bad... XD I just hope the name he's planning for's not too... not too... masculine? Though I doubt. XD I guess I'll just wait for him then. x_x

Hmm... I promised myself that this will be a long post, but nothing's coming out of my mind. x_x What else... Oh! Mom finally allowed me to take Nihonggo lessons this school year! Too bad that my new school is not offering Nihonggo lessons, but it's okay. I've seen an advertisment of a language school from Seventeen. Speaking of magazines, I'm plugging Candy! And no, I'm not paid for plugging. XD It's just that I've been a Candy Girl ever since I was 12 years old, and I must say it's the best ever. XD I love every June ish because it features cool school must-haves, and this June ish is so good! A total cheap thrill edition. All the clothes are under 1000 Php, but everything's good. ^_^ And whatelse... I should start slicing the top image now, since my brother said it takes too long to load and that I should disable the no right click script since it's not friendly for those who opens new pages in tabs. (Although I made links open in new pages...) Aacckk.. x_x And... I also need to work on the images here, since Alum said a yellow + pink + green combination's weird, maybe a red + pink would do. Well.. my recent color theme for this blog's pretty... unusual. XD Ah well. I'll just try the red + pink suggestion. XD

So.. till here for now, got to design more dolls! ^_^

*No, scratch the idea of slicing the picture using Photoshop. x_x It looks alright in the preview mode, but when I publish the entire blog already, there are spaces between the pictures that made my header look like a puzzle. x_x I have to study Image Ready Slices first. T_T I'm sorry that I can't do anything to make it load faster.*

Short Update

After a dozen of web pages and a lot of reading, I'm finally done with the Archive thingy! It was very easy pala. I just didn't have the patience to study it. x_x Finally, my blog's almost complete. ^_^ My only problem is that the header takes too much time loading in IE. I'll use Image Ready to slice it but not now. Too lazy for that. XD

Change topic: Kim won in PBB. Big surprise. XD It's pretty obvious that she'll win anyway. But I'd love to be in her shoes. She had a duet with her favorite band, and a million pesos too. Now that's something.... XD Ah well. It's sad that Mikee didn't win though. I kind of like him. Lolz. XD

I'll cut this short for the mean time, I'll update more tomorrow. ^___^

The Birth of a New Blog

Finally! *kisses Blogger's ground* After long sleepless nights and two missed Wonderful Life episodes, I'm finally done with my very own blog layout! *cheers*

This is not really what I have in mind, but my earlier idea would have to use scroll bars in the future and the coding's very hard. So, I settled for this instead. And I love every inch of it! I used a white background since I love the way it feels- all neat and organized. And of course, I used BoA as my theme, since I'm so addicted to her songs. ^_^ This is not fully done yet since I'm still studying the Archives part, but it'll come soon. (Maybe later? XD) And, I still need to change my cbox's color to match the layout. ^_^

I so missed blogging, but I really think this layout is worth all those blog-less days, even though I still have to study CSS and XHTML more. A big thanks to Kuya Dicey for buying the XHTML book, I learned a lot. ^_^

So what happened this past few days? Updates! ^_^

May 30, 2006 - Still clueless about blogging. Going insane.

May 31, 2006 - I was greeted by a couple of friends, then spent almost all my time fixing the new layout, but since I was clueless, I ended staring at the header I made. x_x

June 01, 2006 - I woke up at around 9am, and watched tv while sending "Thank You's" to all my friends who greeted me. ^_^ (They were soo sweet! I was so touched.) Then, at around 1pm, my brothers told me that they were craving for pizza, so mom asked me if I could accompany her to the mall to buy some more food before our relatives and some visitors arrive.
Before buying the food and some other stuff, I was so surprised when mom told me that we should go shopping for clothes and shoes first. I went home broke since I've spent almost all my money in Kamiseta, leaving me 1k. >_< Nonetheless, it was one of the happiest birthdays I've ever had, thanks everyone! ^_^ *kisses and hugs*

When they all went home, I spent my time fixing my blog layout, coding from the scratch and the like until 3am the next morning.

June 02, 2006 - *still depressed* Kuya Dicey told me not to use tables for the layout, and that div-layer works well. With that, I felt hopless since using div layer's hard for me, considering I'm still a noob . I sulked around for about 30 minutes until Mom asked me to go shopping with her after her dental appointment. After going to the dentist, we went to Glorietta, then Greenbelt. To my dismay, Glorietta's having an all-out sale, and even Kamiseta. To think that I've spent all my money buying clothes in their full prices, last June 01! x_x To ease my sadness, mom said that she'll pay for whatever I want. We ended up buying shoes for ourselves. (Pretty wedges! ^_^). We stayed in Glorietta until 6pm thinking that we can come home soon. Turns out that it was raining very hard. And since we commuted all the way there, it means we have to commute back. T_T Got wet and cold, but the wedges are worth it. ^_^

Today - Finally done with the layout! ^_^ I can say that I'm really happy with this since I coded it on my own. And learned making layouts the hard hard way. T_T To think that I have to research and stuff, and also read the thick XHTML book. But, all good! ^___^ I also played Animal Crossing awhile ago, and I really missed it! K.K. Slider's having his concert tonight, and I sooo love his songs! ^___^

Well... have to wrap this now. ^_^ I still have the Archive thingy to do. XD
